"The Seafarer" is a play by Irish playwright Conor McPherson. Set on Christmas Eve in Dublin, a man named Sharky, struggling with alcoholism, returns home to care for his blind brother, Richard; as old friends gather for a poker game, a mysterious stranger, Mr. Lockhart, arrives, hinting at a dark past between him and Sharky, leading to a tense night where the stakes of the card game become a battle for Sharky's soul, exploring themes of guilt, redemption, and confronting one's demons through darkly humorous dialogue.
Approx. run time: 2 hours plus intermission. Rated PG-13.
